Ty - you sure do talk a lot.

Let me present some actual facts for anyone who'* read this far.

Fact #1 - INTENSE was first to put a 4T65E-HD LSD on the market.

Fact #2 - Not one of our -HD LSD'* has ever exploded at the starting line, and they're running in five cars with more than 500 horsepower and one with more than 600 horsepower now.

Fact #3 - Thirteen of the fifteen hardest launching 3800 FWD cars in North America run the INTENSE -HD LSD. Here'* the list if you want to verify some of these on your own:

01.) Uzoma Iwuagwu - 1.547 - INTENSE LSD
02.) Scott Cook - 1.644 - INTENSE LSD
03.) Ed Morad - 1.659 - INTENSE LSD
04.) Scott Murray - 1.667 - INTENSE LSD
05.) John Tsimaras - 1.672 - INTENSE LSD
06.) Jeff McClurg - 1.698 - INTENSE LSD
07.) Bridgett Meekhof - 1.701 - INTENSE LSD
08.) Ken Walsworth - 1.705 - INTENSE LSD
09.) Paul Jerkatis - 1.709 - C-Ya Racing LSD
10.) Chad Conklin - 1.712 - INTENSE LSD
11.) Chris Green - 1.724 - INTENSE LSD
12.) Kevin Upton - 1.735 - INTENSE LSD
13.) Chris Yates - 1.747 - INTENSE LSD
14.) Mike Vaughan - 1.765 - INTENSE LSD
15.) Luan Zeqollari - 1.772 - Quaife ATB

No but close.

The same idea but electrical. I have a transaxle builder who is connected with the builders of the unit.

Scott
I wondered when you would say something.

lol You are right I also talk to alot of different shops and even on this site people have recorded in writing that your limited slip has seen one wheel slip.

I have seen this Talk in other arenas and people not invested in this car or related cars back up my general comments.

So while I have you your attention what clutch material do you use??

How does your system work???

Nothing against you personally Scott but on this subject you don’t say anything of substance. You don’t talk enough.

I have also found you advertising these great cars and drivers to promote your product as a 4t60-e option yet the "GM" coated pinion is not available for the 4t60-e So you have to provide a unbalanced unit and hope for the best. Not a solution in my opinion. What car on your list is running a 4t60-e?

I don’t know???… I have heard both good and bad and I was not given names but i can be fairly sure the person (is a customer of mine) your units have broken..how?? I dont know ? why? . Fill us in on this??

So I don’t want this to be a Pi$$ing contest because I do not have the cars you do and would never claim to. I do though want to finally get some answers?? All other times I have challenged this style of product I received no real info just unrelated 1/4 mile times.

Prove me wrong.
Tell me how and then I will take this info and crunch it with the shops who have no vested interest in this product. If you are correct Scott and your product is better or at least as good as a true preloaded posi style limited slip then I will change my tune retroactively. I never said it didn’t work..Just not as well as a true final preloaded limited slip.

So HP and 1/4 times and when you started offering the already mastered idea ( posi) to the public are totally unrelated to the real issue.

How does your unit work???

Why did you pull the larger pictures showing the products detail??

Please Scott do some talking…

Ty

Ty, are you talking about an airlocker?
I was sure I mentioned this idea to you awhile back when we talked.

Ok, general Vendor rules apply.....FRIENDLY competition. You're both here for the customer base, not to bash. It'* been clean so far, so no boxing gloves. Just keyboards.

(and on a personal note, I'm watching this thread with a great deal of interest from a customers standpoint as well )

I, and alot of other members have a tremendous respect for both DP and Intense. We'd be lost without you guys.

This is not between me and intense this is about the product options and merit of different styles.

Unrelated company with no vested interest ( Eaton another innovator) has used the preloaded system for many years. And if they were to post a list of times and HP ratings the server would crash.

I have a link that everyone can understand so this is truly informative.

My personal experience with limited slips and lockers spans 11 years and in this area I am personally very confident. BUT I am not engineer so try this link.

No go to the intense site and click on the picture of any of the limited slips and instead of showing a detailed picture like the Mike dye unit there is no picture anymore.

My point is not Scott his merit or even the limited slip quality. The issue is the limited slips we are offered are not complete. So I went out and got the best in the business to confirm that I could swap the concept used by Eaton and others over to a Gm FWD.

YES is what I was told and it has now been done.

Ty
