New add 20hp gizmo
Go to ebay.com and type in ssei. Someone'* selling these "gain 20hp" chip thingies for $3, just wondering if anyone tried these. Looks and smells like BS to me.

Sort of BS but some truth.
It is a resistor to trick the IAT and make the computer think that the intake air temp is 45*F. You will gain one or two degrees of timing, depending on how warm it was before tricking, for about a 5 hp gain.
I use one (bought the resistor from radio shack) when racing. You can get away with it for a very short time until the "smart" computer figures it out.

Remember though adding timing can be bad, and the computer may just pull it back (and more) if knock occurs and KR is induced. This can hurt you more then help you when its warm out.
