Default performance mods

i want to add some pep to my 2000 ssei. i have had if for a few weeks now and want more out of it. i have looked at the intense website packages stage 1,2,3 etc. should i go with one of these kits? i was looking at the 1,900 kit?
I dont want to ruin anything and I have read about the smaller pulley and KR. I am willing to spend 1500-2000 on performance. let me know what you guys would do first, but I want it to be reliabe and not damage the motor thnks.

ps I want to be around 300 horses when I am done.

1. - 180 Stat
2. - Tranny Cooler
3. - FWI
4. - Headers
5. - 3.4 Pulley
6. - PCM

In that order should give you a very noticeable gain. Intense is a good way to go.
Look at my mods below to see what it takes to take it to about 350 hp

Intense stage 3 kit. The $1900 one. I bought it and I love it. It'll get you pretty close to the 300 crank hp mark. But remember with the bonne'*, you can spend a lot of money on performance, but the more power you make, more than likely the sooner you'll have to do your tranny too.

dont get the transmission rebuilt unless it needs it

a word of advice on pulley size, all cars are different, but my cars running this _ (its a regal gs btw)

3.4, DHP 1.0, 3" to 2.5" Downpipe, highflow cat 2.5" slp powerflo dual exhaust, thrasher intake, drilled 180 tstat, 104 autolites. and i still had a ALOT of kr, like 5 to 6 degrees.

definatly add a AFC 2.2 to that list, since there discontinued i guess, look on the boards for one, dont get a 2.0, 2.2'* are alot easier to tune....i extended my wires 7 feet on each side and mounted it in my car so i could tune it while driving. what a afc does is add or take away fuel at any given throttle position (actually based of maff tables). so at idle / cruise, it takes away some fuel it would normally give, and at WOT it makes it give it 105% (or maybe its 104). im now at about 1-2kr, usually around 1. i plan on ordering 1.84 roller rockers from zzp to get rid of the remaining knock....

anyways, what im trying to say is a scanner without a doubt should be your 1st mod. see how much kr you have stock, because yes you may have some. for the price of a dhp, scanner and afc.....order the PowrTuner, but only if your comfortable tunning yourself. my car came with the scanner and dhp, so i opted not to get a powrtuner.

forget headers.....if your going to waste money on headers you are MUCH better off with a intercooler, Wbody store is releasing one, id think it would work with a bonneville, but you can run a 3.2 on a stock car with no kr.......for 800. zzp also makes a ss ic, which is a small intercooler, i plan on ordering to drop to a 3.1 or 3.2 (since ill be kr free with a 3.4)

if your just planning minimal mods, get a 3.5. people dont understand how big a step a 3.4 is. my car had a 3.4 already, so i decided to add additional mods to support it, if i wasn't going to add any other mod then i have now, id order a 3.5 to replace my 3.4

The AFC is not a power-adder or a performance modification. It'* a tuning aid. Nothing more. They can be unreliable, flaky, and there are better ways of achieving the same results.
