PEM'*
My family was wondering what to get me for my 21st b-day and i told them pems since my manifolds are leaking and i need them fixed for inspection. I was just wondering what the cost usually were to get ones already ported (i need little down time) either from a website or maybe someone here may have some, also, is there anything i should coat them with before installing them. thanks in advance

There are a number of places you can get them. I bought some from wbodystore.com and liked both the product and the service. They don't always have them in stock though, so you might want to contact them via email.

those are NOT in stock right now.
what is their budget?
for $350 you can get some new Pacesetter'* HEADERS
http://www.zzperformance.com/grand_p...=598&catid=110
you can find them for even cheaper used.

Lol, right! I knew that. However, their stock changes regularly and thus the suggestion to contact them.
As is always the case, if you can stand your car being down for a period of time, you can take yours off and send them in for P&P, no core charge.
Or you can just buy headers if you plan on doing many more modifications, though you will have to heavily mod an L36 to outflow PEMs.

i can't have any down time its my only vehicle (other then than a half a day or so, are there any other sights for pem'* and are they priced each or for the pair at the first site that was given...as far as headers go, what other work do you need to do to install them or are the direct bolt on.
id rather do pems because i don't think i'll mod it enough to need headers

the Pacesetters are direct bolt on, you need nothing other than some new exhaust manifold gaskets (they come with paper ones) and an afternoon.

will headers negativly affect a n/a
and i thought of one more idea, i can get a j/y set of manifolds send them to a machine shop to get check for leaks and then send them to get p and p (my local maching shop will only gasket match not p and p) how much would it be to send them out and where do i send them)

You can send JY headers to wbodystore as your set. They will do the leak check, crack repair and P&P for the price listed, I believe. That price listed is for a set of two.
Again, I suggest you email them and ask your questions, they may not respond immediately, but I found them to be very helpful.
