Gut airbox kinda
Ok well ive been brainstorming and i was wondering if it would b at all possible to take my intake and modify the old stock intake to hold my cone filter and try to block as much heat as possible...is this do able or is it just a royal waste of time

I have also thought about it. The filter should fit in the box. The challenge would be orientation of the filter in relation to how the connector between the throttle body and airbox connect.
I'd give it a doable with imagination rating.
