PCM Q'*
I know that the custum burned PCMs will erase my govornor and raise my shift points. Oh yea I also read that it will allow "skip shifts". What are those. Also, with the higher shifts do I risk getting KR or straining my stock engine. Also does the PCM eleiminate torque management?

Higher shifts aren't worth it because the engine'* not makeing any power worth running that hard. And yes it will strain the **** out or your motor.

If your not rockered or cammed then higher shift points will put you out of your powerband. INTENSE PCM'* can be custom selected to keep stock shift points if you wish. Anytime you rev higher then stock you will want supporting mods such as stronger springs, retainers, rods etc...especially if you add rockers or a cam. There is no such thing as "skip shifts" in our cars. The closest we come to is a quick double down shift. It happens so fast it feels like it skips a gear downshifting.

As Tranny in the pants stated..
Higher shift point isn't worth it if you're engine is basically stock.. it might help if you have changed rockers and wat not that pushes the power band up to a higher shift point ( major mod ).. skip shifting I think means.. when you go WOT @ certain speed it will downshift by two.. stead of just one then another.. ( i.e. 4th O/D to 2nd while you're doing 45 MPH stead of to 3rd.. then downshift to 2nd realizeing it can get more oomph from downshifting that way.. and by that time.. the other car may have gotten the jump on you )
EDIT: Rogue beat me to it. lmao !!!

From when I talked to Dave from DHP when I got my PCM flashed to a DHP 1.0, he told me the torque management functions are pretty much eliminated. At 40 MPH at WOT, you will downshift from 3rd in to 1st gear.
In my experience, the DHP is highly agressive. The Intense is a little bit easier on your car.

ZZP is the only one that has PCM'* for my LSS. My car is strange when I got it I could get 2nd gear up to 92 mph@ 5800rpm, now it only goes up to 86mph@ 5500rpm. WTF is up with that? The same thing happend to my old car. After 3-4 months of owning it, it started backing off on the shift points?!?

Any chance Intense or ZZP can custom burn the PCM from my 3100?....I've been looking into chips for it but none are available. I don't want higher shift points. I like how it shifts now, plus I only have an intake and no other mods. I just want my limiter gone.
