Default PCM arrived today....

.... from ZZP... can't wait ......it'* the main reason why my motor isn't in yet.... waiting for the PCM to get sent in, reprogramed, sent back, and...... I just can't wait. (all giddy like a little kid in kindegarten needing some sort of depressant).
Motor is going in sometime between Monday-Wednesday, and then to the body shop for the coresupport staightening, as well as the bumpers being re-installed, and I finally get to drive a bubble-butt Bonneville!!!!!!
Oh, and the old engine.... it'* getting put back together, and used as a engine dyno mule for McCoy Motorsports ... yup, my supplier got a new Engine Dyno and all I need now is a PCM for a 2000 GTP wiring harness (already have).

$25 each pull!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well, that much will be deducted from my (I' distracted because a friend is talking about a customer coming into his Custom Cabinetry Shop while his Jenna Jameson Screen saver is running and.....) cash wages.... while I'm attending school and working in his shop PT.

Marty.. why were you waiting for the pcm to install the motor? You do know that the pcm sits by the fender and isn't dependent on the pcm installation... right?

Then..why would you put the motor in.. then have body work done, that might be easier with the motor out?

The shop wants to be able to start the motor right away to make sure it'* good to leave the shop. Also he needs to do the CASE Learn for the new engine/reprogrammed PCM.
The body shop is kinda up hill from the lot (sharp incline right up to the building) and they don't have anything to push the car with so they want the motor in it so they can drive it onto the rack to straighten the core support.
Otherwise it'd be just waiting for the PCM to be installed, but I'm just trying to please the shop so as to get the best price on the repairs.
I want to drive it that is for sure, but I'm stuck here like a friggin lunatic pulling my hair out in anticipation of the big day.

15 minutes to midnight or 15 bottles of Michelob Golden Draft Light at 15 minutes to 3AM?

PCM is a standard unit... here'* the lowdown on the tweeks done to it:

Still waiting for the motor to be installed.... supposed to be in tomorrow or Tuesday.
I'm leaving for North Dakota for work in about 2 hrs and won't be home or on-line until Thursday or Friday evening.
Again, the pcm is a standard 1.0 ZZP unit, but I won't be really able to experience it until the body shop is done straightening the core support and I get the bumpers, coolers and HL'* re-installed.
Also have to get the AC charged too..... may just do a AC delete pulley as that'* cheaper than charging the system....for now and besides I don't need the AC for another 6 months.

As for now until the car is streetable I will be stuck driving this Ford Ranger Splash regular cab 4x4 (4.0/5-spd). :? It'* ok, in the fun factor category, but it doesn't fulfil my need for speed..... or accelleration.
