As far as the security relearn...yes you have to do that the car will not start without it.
The case learn is a crankshaft variation learn procedure. I have had my pcm for well over a year and haven't had it done. P-dad had his for about 6 months and had it done and said he couldn't tell a difference.
My wife'* uncle is a ASE certified mechanic he did work at one of the larger dealerships in our area. He told me as long as you don't change both the pcm and crankshaft you don't need to have it done.
Just my 2 cents.

You can order a PCM from us and pay a core charge. We will send you a PCM with the code and when you send back your original you get your core charge money back (instead of buying one and sending it to us, you just buy one from us and then get the money back when you return your original).
A CASE is required if you physically change the PCM. If you send yours in to be programmed no CASE (or core charge) is required but your car is out of comission for the few days it takes to get your PCM shipped, coded and returned.

The car will probably start without the case learn, but you need that to make it run fine.
(edit: The case learn need you to go at WOT ...so you need a running engine to do that )
a case learn take 1 minute to do, If you know someone with a DHP power tuner. Or go to the dealer like you know.

Probably in a couple weeks I will order PCM , does changing this have any adverse effects overtime on engine or tranny, and is there a prom or something that I would have to replace.
I will call dealer about case learn ahead of time to make sure theyll do it.thanks.

The only problem will be your right foot.
If you keep the stock shift point theres nothing to worry about. The shift will be firmer but i think its better for the tranny.

Like Mike said the only problem will be your right foot.
No adverse affects at all on the engine. It generally just make the car run and perform better.
Intense has done their homework on this, as the site says they build, test, and tune all their products so they know exactly how it will perform.
Go ahead and get it you'll have alot more fun with your car.
I did

I really have to recommend that you buy a PCM from Intense. I did and was also one of there lucky winners in the PCM lottery:
3.28.06 - Congratulations to our latest winner in the INTENSE PCM Lottery!
Congratulations to Christopher Donnelly of Wappingers Falls, New York! He is our latest winner in the INTENSEä PCM Lottery. We're currently running a special promotion where every 25th PCM purchased from INTENSE is free. If you are the lucky 25th buyer you will receive your purchase price back as a gift certificate for the price of the PCM (excluding shipping and core charges) and the count will start over
I used the $100 certificate to buy an Intense MPS with 3.5 pulley. So in the end, I got $230 for of upgrades for only $130!! I think I'll buy rockers from them next.!
