Default Oversized Idler Pulley

Well I received the ZZP 3 1/2" pulley to replace the original 3" idler puller on the tensioner adjustment.
It will effectively shorten the belt run to allow using the stock belt with a 3.4 or 3.25" supercharger pulley.

I tried removing the bolt that attaches it to the tensioner and it doesn't budge. I can only get a 3/8" rachet to fit because of the air conditioner evap can and I'm fearful of breaking the tensioner if I reef too hard.

Any advice...

Has anyone done it :?:

The stock belt is a 6PK1838 and there is a 6PK1815 smaller size in the Gatorback design that will work.

Default

I just installed the smaller 6PK1815 belt. The tensioner in now back where it was with the original belt and the 3.8" supercharger pulley.
That should rule out any posibility of belt slippage.
I'll just hang onto the larger idler pully for now until I install a smaller 3.25" SC pulley.
