I was thinking of a $20k '99 L67 in a Metro much as you have done, It'* seriously badass. Have you considered closing the car up more? Or, are you not planning on driving it daily?
Not to steal your thunder, but I posted about it first...

the cool part is how cheap it all is!
the fuel system is the most $ at a total of 1100$ so far (AN lines/fittings/pump/regulator) and even more come turbo time!
but total we estimate that we got 2500$ total (in steel/welding supplies/plasma cutter consumables/gaskets etc)
LONG LIVE Lowbuck/Redneck/Modern hotrodding!
so if i start my own shop, how many of ya want me to put two L67 supercharged 3800'* in a GTP/SSEi ?!?
schlim

On my GTP, I'd take the money that would go in to a second engine, and just put it in to the main engine for some serious HP.
But that would be sweet having a twin-engine GTP.

BRE (before rear engine) was 16.51 at 83mph
we will be finding out how fast we go this summer, all we have is seat of the pants feel from last summer (14 ish?)
we shal see how fast with each engine only having to carry less than 2/3rds (actually closer to 1/2) the original weight it had too along with how much faster our 60 ft time is with the rear engine being able to push the car (no wheelspin) while the front gets feathered till she hooks (one of the reasons i gotta adj the progressive throttle setup)
we will know soon......soon.....
besides with all the new stuff on my nova first race will be me vs him and i should be easilly in the low 12'* lol
this dam snow needs to melt first lol!

I saw a twin engined Eldorado before (two 4.6L Northstars), but nothing like this before. Looks like a cool setup. Now all you have to do is put a turbo or supercharger setup on the 3100 and it would be really fast.
