To double back, bringing up your octane in your 98 SSE will not help add any power.

Overall the 87-89 octane that most find to be regular and mid grade is a good powerful choice in your car.

yuppers your car will get better gasmilage on the pisswater (87 octane) than it will on the superjuice (93)
