Cylinder 6 plug was a nightmare. First the wire was so burnt that when I was reaching for it it just fell off. Then I couldn't even get the boot off. Spent 2 hours messing with it and finally the boot came off but the metel terminal was still on the plug. Spark plug socket wouldn't even go on. Had to use an deep impact socket to get over the terminal. Finally. Next time I won't wait 53k to change plugs. You should see the wire! Wasted!

Napa also sells booties that help repel the heat. PM Highlander for the name of them.

Yes, the heat shields made it more difficult to get to the sparkplug boot because it kept crumbling to pieces. After I got the shield off it still took time to get the plug out due to the terminal still couldn't come off of the plug. I just left those shields off all together.

Did you get a OE replacement set? If you did leaving those Heat shields off will cause the wires on the rear bank to be cooked faster...

I have been through this before... But I do have to take into consideration that my Bonnie is a diffrent design... But I still managed to burn a set of wires up...
No, I purchased Magnecor Competition wires. I posted yesterday on these take a look. It'* in this forum.
