Ok i have my intake high flow cat and hopfully a little more free flowing muffler soon i want something really quiet though (let me know if anyone has any suggestions) and uhh lets see 2.2 inch sc pulley and oversized idler pulley.... i was just wondering what i should do next cause now that i have some i want more but i don't want to hurt my car or my transmission so just let me know what you guys think i have a 93 SSEi with 117K on it \

FWI or CAI, colder t-stat (180*), manual fan switch, colder plugs (Autolight 104'* @ .55")

Buy a scantool BEFORE you buy a pulley. You need to scan for KR after going to a 2.2".

where can i get a scantool at and how much are they?... also when i get it and it does turn out that i'm getting a lot of KR what should i do then is it going to harm my car if i don't tend to it immediatly?

right now i'm getting a lot of ideas in my head about the CAI.. i'm looking at everyone elses box'* and stuff like that to try to figure out what i wanna do.. definately need to do it though because it gets hot in STL and i need to sheilded from my engine as much as i can and need to run piping down where the original was behind the headlight right? just trying to figure out what is best

on the other mods where should i get these at do local parts stores have the autolight plugs and the t-stats or do i have to order them and are these jobs i can do i'm not sure where the t-stat is located at? the manual fan switch too at local parts stores?

More then likly you are having KR right now... In the mean time make sure to run 93 octane and don't jump on it or drive it hard. Best thing to do if you are set at running a 2.2" pulley is to cool the car off. Run at least a 180* t-stat (160* in the summer is best), run 2 shade cooler copper plugs, put a FWI on to get the coldest air.

Everyone else will chime in to tell you where and how to do this stuff...

As you can see, there'* alot more to it than just slapping a pulley on the car.

is the KR gonna harm my engine if i don't do these things right away? like i said i'm gonna do that FWI/CAI friday and then i'm gonna get some plugs definately but are the autolite 104'* two steps colder or just one if so what are the 2 steps colder plugs? is it alright to just get a 160 t-stat and run it year round?

160 is wayyyyyyyyyyyyy too cold for winter, youll never have heat and the car will probably have trouble getting into closed loop

well is the thermostat somthing i can change from winter to summer should i buy both the 160 and 180 they are only like 15 bucks on SFX Performance is that the way to go what about the spark plugs

A 160* non-drilled will not have a problem heating up in the winter, it will not take longer either, the only thing it will do is only warm up to 165* or so and not blow as warm heat. Don't install a 160* unless you have a manual fan switch because it will be stuck open all the time and your cooling system will have a hard time keeping up in the summer.

I'd do Autolight 104'* @ .55", they are 2 ranges colder and are copper so they will be great at reducing KR. Only problem with them is that you will prob. have to change them every year. (10K miles) If you don't want to change your plugs as much I'd do some NGK'* they are a longer lasting plug.

If it was me I'd do a 160* drilled t-stat and Autolight 104'* or 103'* depending on KR for the summer and then change to 180* non-drilled t-stat and just put in new Autolight 104'* in the winter.

If you don't see the track a lot or don't run your car colder then the operating temp. (t-stat temp.) I wouldn't worry about drilling the t-stat. It will only give you problems and you will not see a benifit from it.
