Has anybody attempted an aftermarket sunroof install?

most aftermarket moonroofs when the glass is opened the glass goes on the out side of the car because of the complex headliner needed to hide the glass if it were to retract in the inside
here for a moonroof it cost about 700$ installed

Thats a valid point gameover, a regular sunroof would be fine for northern Alberta. The few days a year I get to use mine doesnt seem worth it too me. Actually I would prefer a regular one that I could pop open in the rear to vent. My stock moon roof is a bit loud to crack open.

Yea, the sunroof would probably be the route I would go, simply on the cost factor.
My buddy suggested that if I'm going to cut the roof anyway, I should someone to fab up a T-roof. lol.
