does anybody know where the heck i can get a functional ram air hood for my '96 ssei? i only find these for trans ams and what not.. i figure... the more air the marrier right?

I have a source that could fab you one, but generally you would be looking at around $1500+ or so.

noone makes a ram air hood for a bonnie, functional or not. For the record, ram air is no more effective than a cold air intake for performance

probably not worth it.. but thanks! i noticed before that there is someone on this site that has what appears to be a ram air hood... i wonder where he got his.

your probably thinking of dave, handdrumman, he has stick-on scoops, non functional, but they look pretty good.

yeah that is deffinately a sweet look... oh well, in the mean time i suppose i will work on cleaning the inside of my car instead... leaves and dead bees eveywhere! unless any of you know whether or not the intercooler you'd put on the grand prix would work on the ssei

Yes, all the GP intercoolers and performance parts will work on your car.

I have perhaps the closest thing to a hood improvement out there. I have functional vents near the cowl. The vents are from a GTA. We also installed a set in driverjohn'* car in December.
