What do you all think about the magnaflow XL SS Oval Turbo Muffler for adding a nice deep tone to my exhaust? What is the the stock exhaust pipe size

Honestly it will be hard for us agree on the muffler, as no one on here has installed one yet. Most mufflers have very very different sounds depending on brand, type, number of outlets, etc. Choosing a muffler is pretty much a "your choice" type of thing, and even listening to videos of mufflers isn't a good way to choose, as most get distorted.

I have not heard that muffler myself. But being as the muffler is a resonator style muffler it will sound much smoother then a chamber equivalent. I would still run a normal resonator with that muffler and you should have a nice, deep sound.

Judging by your name I'm going to guess you have a 01 Bonneville.. N/A versions of the 3.8L should be 2.25" & supercharged motors should carry 2.5" exhaust.

Please add the year and trim of your car to your signature, thanks.

01Bonne, please put your year and trim level (model) in your signature by editing your profile.

The link is at the top of the page. We have no idea what engine or exhaust configuration you have.
