Got some more toys!!!!
Just got a set of I-Win engineering 1.9 rockers. Will be ordering the LS6 valve springs from GMPD this week along with the radiator lines, PCM tray, over flow tank and washer fluid reservoir.
My 99 is going to be pretty darn quick it'* first day at the track as long as I get the MPS, PCM and tubing for the FWI.
I had been planning on mid August for it'* track debut, but with a trip to Atlanta coming the following week I better hold off a little longer -probably towards the end of September as I have 2 weddings I'm in the first two weekends and the reception for the Sept 9 wedding I'm in is going to be the following Saturday evening.
So for now what I have for mods are:
TEP CAI (Soon to be intense FWI)
GEN V M90 SC
Belden Max 8MM plug wires
NGK TR55'* (.056") -will probably switch to Autolite 104'* when I swap pulleys)
180* T-stat drilled
3" catback exhaust pipingwith 3" HF resonator
IMCO F-body HF 2.5" inlet >>dual 2.5" outlet muffler
On Order/ In Mail:
I-Win Engineering stock rockers modified to 1.9'*
GEN V M90 LIM (will be ported as soon as it arrives)
McCoy Motorsports ported and ceramic coated PEM'* (in shop being ported/coated this week, but may not end up using the front log Mani we are going to build tubular front'* very soon)
Soon to be ordered:
Intense PCM
MPS with 3.4" and 3.2/3.25" pulleys
Intense 3.5" smooth flex hose for FWI
GMPP LS6 valve springs
Alex exhaust mandrel bent 3" DP (my car will be their prototype/test mule as they already are doing W-body mandrel bent DP'*.
Magnaflow HF 3" cat
1999 L67 long block with a;; accessories and SC with 44k (found locally for $600)
Can't wait for first day at the track -with all the above mods installed I think it'* safe to say I will be dang near my initial goal of 320 CHP and solid 14.0 to high 13'* on street tires (full track prepped/lightened).
I definitely will be taking this to the dyno this fall -can't wait.
