Increasing Performance on a Budget
What are the low budget ways to increase the performance of my 1998 Bonneville SE. These are great cars and I would like to get the performance up as much as possible without spending a whole lot of money.

CAIs aren't too expenise from what i've read, and they do help performance...there are plenty of threads about them so you'll probably find the part numbers and info you need

exhaust, and an air intake system works quick and inexpensive charms on these cars. Try those. Besides, it not only improves performance and gas milage, it makes it sound great too.

Do NOT increase your exhaust piping diameter until you're into the 13'* on the quarter mile. Changing the Cat and muffler(*) can help. Cat for performance, mufflers for sound. We don't have a restrictive exhaust from the cat back. All mandrel bent stainless.
Do headers or PEM'* after your rocker or cam.
