Question for Bigfunkytown on mufflers...
Hey...
Was reading about you getting the Summit Racing exhaust setup on your 98 SE.
I'm looking to do the same thing for my 99 SE and wanted to get a little more specifics from you.
What part numbers do you have and how much of a performance gain did you realize?
Got any sound clips for me?
Thanks!

I use the little Summit Turbo mufler. It is waaaaaay lighter than stock. What I should have done was open the exhaust pipe up to a full 2.50 so the engine could breath You won't see much of a HP gain due to the limits of the L-36 making power inthe first place. They are not too loud but they do drone. I like the drone myself Below 5200rmp you won't see much of a gain, but the car as you see in the sig did break under the 16 secound mark. You must also be aware that you are giving up a lot of wieght to any car you run agianst from the start. Don't have any sound clips or part No. for you as I've slept a lot since then, but I don't think you'll be to displeased with this mod. Mainly because they only cost about $25.00 U.*. (this should inclued shipping and tax). Haven't been back to the track since I've installed the ZZP throtle body yet, but will go in the fall...... to hot in Texas right now
