Default HP tuners

Does anybody know if it'* Vista compatible? I'm gonna be gettin' a laptop here pretty soon, and I'm wonderin' if I should get a new one with Vista or get an older one with XP.

vista is good if u dont game. its a resource hog! i just got a new hp laptop from bestbuy, it has vista and its just as fast as my desktop i use for gaming, but it all depends what you use it for.
once microsoft is fully updated on everything like drivers and such vista will blow xp away. so id get vista
but your pc will probly run a lil bit faster with xp...
what laptops did u have in mind?

i dont really like vista as it is a big memory hog
and right now there really is no advantage to using vista as it all runs the same speed no matter what os you have, except for the fact that vista takes a lot more resources to run in the background
i will eventually go to vista full time but right now ill stick with xp

IMO i would just buy a cheap laptop like 500-600 as it will be outdated in 6-12months anyways
Thats just me thou
If you have any problems with it thou, i am an IT Guy
