Well both, but the rockers give more power in the higher RPMs.

Here'* Todd'* dyno for just adding rockers look at 5400 rpms and up. big difference.

Get the rockers, recommended though to get Oil-restricted pushrods and 105 springs so there'* no valve float in the higher RPM'*.

Both, you will rev higher faster, thus getting you to higher mph faster.

how much boost did you lose when you added the Rockers?

Just by looking off the stock gauge I'm at 8.5-9.5 used to just peg 10 before off 3.4
My TOG'* are going in in 8 days and a 3.2 will be coming with it. Should be back up to 10-11ish hopefully with no KR.

I am wondering if the boost loss ( 2 lbs ) and the Rockers HP gain will cancel each other out?

Don't be concerned with indicated boost pressure. The flow is still the same. That'* really what'* important. You won't LOSE power at all.

I was not concerned with losing POWER AT ALL. I know that I will lose boost ( power ) when adding the rockers...and that the Rockers will give me 25+ HP gain. I am wondering if the Boost Loss from adding the Rockers and the Rockers HP gain will cancel each other out. I hope that I am making sense here....

The key issue here is that you'll lose INDICATED boost because of the lower backpressure, and ease of flow. The volume of air through the engine remains unchanged. Think of it as poking a little hole in an airline right before the pressure gauge.

You're thinking (if I understand correctly) that you'll gain from rockers, and lose a little from boost? That'* not the case. You'll gain from rockers and lose indicated boost, but still have the same flow.

all I know is when I add a 3.4 from the stock 3.8 I get about 25hp gain...boost rises about 3psi....and if Rockers decrease the boost PSI...Logic would assume that the HP is lost as well.

I understand your thinking, but you gained that extra boost buy turning the superchager faster and that added boost, now the rockers help the engine flow better so there'* less back pressure, meaning less boost, but the supercharger is still turning the same amount as before so flow is the same, so this loss of boost is GAINING POWER by effiency. Now you can add a smaller pulley to bring that boost back up and gain even more power, assuming it'* not making more KR.

Adding headers will also lower boost because of increased flow, than smaller pulley to bring boost back up again. Me I have 3.4 now with rockers, headers going on next weekend, will see how much more PSI is lost. Take it to my buddy with Atap, go for a run and than slap on a 3.2 and atap again, I'm confident all should be good.
