Default My '93 Bonneville, and what I could do with/to it...

Hello everyone. Just came across this website. Its wonderful! I never knew such a community existed for us Bonneville owners. Anyway, I am a younger guy but wondered what relatively "simple" things I could do on a limited budget to increase the performance of my '93 3800 Tuned Port Injection Bonneville. It has 175k Miles on it, but a new tranny, and the new one has only 60k I believe.

Thanks a lot!

Welcome to the Forum WillD

For a cheap and quick way to boost your performance is to use top grade fuel, gut your airbox, and use high performance spark plugs and wires. A 180T-stat will help prolong your engine and keep the transmission cooler

Once you get into customizing your air intake, exhuast and computer chip for the PCM, it gets a little spendy.

Are you supercharged? Do us a fave..if you are goin to be a regular it really helps the "pros" around here to list your year, model and trim level in your signature There are big time differences between naturally aspirated and Supercharged engines, it helps to identify what you have, what you have done, and what you can do

Check out the following sites. www.domesticperformance.com and www.angryducktofuracing.com. These sites specialize in parts for our Bonnevilles, and they are members on this forum. Also, check out Techinfo, lots of goodies in there.

Good luck...!

there is not realy any thing you can do in terms of gutting your air box but you can cut hles in it and run toobing from the holes to the front of the car
