Just because your boost went down, doesn't mean you're loosing HP. But this is another discussion.

Exhaust will be totally different from say my car to jims. It'* only .2L but he'* got 2 more cylinders making noise in one cycle. That being said, our bore'* are bigger, making a lower sound (i think). Hails, you car with magnaflow will sound somewhere between bonine94sse'* magnaflows, and Jim W'*. You have the 3800, but you have the G body exhaust setup.

I gotta say, even though everyone seems to say "go magnaflow" I don't like them on supercharged cars. No offense to Bill, or anyone else, but when they're idling they sound like a diesel truck and that just isn't the sound I want...I like the lower, softer sound of the Flowmasters.

I'd be curious though as to what the other companies, like Corsa, Borla and such would sound like...no one on the site seems to have those (too expensive?).

That was just a general example, works for all manufactures.

Oh I know that, but I was responding to everyone all at once.

Thanks for helping.
(especially with the videos on your website...I think it would be impossible for me to figure out what I want without them.)

I have never said lower boost makes less HP. In fact I have stated that you may actually be making more if not the same HP. However it WILL feel less torquey with less boost at least on the low end. Its hard to describe unless you experiance it. I guess it all depends on whether you want asthetics or performance, and maybe a mixture of both is the best choice for some. I'm going to do my thing and document as best I can along the way to help those who want to try the same things at least make a somewhat informed decision. Most of our mods are based on the GP and I have found many times that those mods do not act the same on our cars.
