40 MPH ?
I was wondering what upgrade i could do to get read of the lag that my bonneville has around 40mph. I have noticed it and it bothers me. Could i get an idea on how to improve this.

It doesn't downshift right? It just stays in gear?
I hate when that happens to me. An upgraded PCM can change shift points and functions. That is the only way to improve it.
Edit: i notice you have a 95. I don't know, is there a PCM available for 95'*?

no it shifts at 40 but it is like a long shift. i just saw this http://www.zzperformance.com/zzp/pro...dhp_pcm_10.htm and it said the same thing i noticed but they dont have one for my car. i dont know it isnt a big deal but if you are riding at around 35 or so and pouch it once you get to 40 then there is just that slight lag there and that gives an advantage to a another car. anyone else notice this?
