Default Looking For Light Performance Upgrade Tips

Hello, After talking with a VERY helpful sseimatt93, I have got some knowledge on where to begin modding my car.

As far as these trendy SC pulley'* I have been told that the 2.2 is now coming under scrutiny for not being the straight across best. Would I be looking at a 2.3 if I wanted to avoid these speculated problems?

Concerning Exhaust, High flow Cat or High Flow Resonator, Magnaflow or Flowmaster 80? Are there noticeable differences between the two, is it a matter of preference? What part numbers should I be looking for?

Shocks, KYB or (monroe) Sensatrac? How do I tell if I have air ride control? Again, any part numbers are helpful!

Ignition is pretty straight forward, MSD is the unanimous favorite? Should I consider other brands? Anything you fellas can add or suggest in this area is very much appreciated!

Brakes, Slotted or Drilled Rotors? What type of pads would you recommend?

Anything else you can add is welcome, I'm eager to learn! Thanks guys.

Heheh, thanks, Ive came along way through testing and diagnosing here in the past few months.
Another easy way to test for working rear air ride (ELC) is to apply wieight inside of your trunk, mine actually usually kicks in if I rasie the front of the car with my jack, once i lower the car the rear end is usually higher until it bleeds down.
MSD coils: I bought mine because one failed on my old Bonneville, got them at a decent price, the stock ones actually perform really well, however, i did notice a slight difference in mid range power, as it produces hotter spark with MSD.
The only thing that concearns me is running a 2.2 seems to cause grief with KR, if you arent looking at really making a monster out of this car, but want a bit more, id try the suggested 2.3 or 2.4, get it compressing a bit more, but not so much that it stacks boost in the lower intake.
Welcome to the club, nice to have someone within distance of me, as in like 90 miles lol.
So everyone knows, he bought his 92 in Red Deer, were I live, I have seen his car around lots, not so much now though that he moved it 90 miles away when he bought it (Friday?)
Also, its the identical color of mine, which means u will be a bit faster than any other color, cause, red is faster, everyone knows that
