Default Looking to get rid of my 2001 SSEi Factory Chrome Rims (17&q

I'm looking at possibly selling my 2001 Bonny Chrome Factory Rims because I'm about to upgrade to 18" Rims and Tires. If anyone is interested, please make me an offer. Thanks a lot BTW, the rims are the swirly looking ones.

P.*. I will also throw in the tires (Factory 235/55/R17 H rated) at no cost. Three of the tires have 55000 miles on them and one has only 20000. They still have tread left but I don't know how much exactly...using the penny technique Lincoln'* head is still covered a little on the three older tires and about halfway still on the newer tire. If you have any questions, ask.

Later,
Jason

Default Tire Tread Remaining

Lady and Gents,

I had the tread measured on the tires that would come with the rims mentioned above and here are the measurements.

Front Right Tire : 6/32nd left (This one is the one I had to purchase at about 35000 miles because I blew a tire so that'* why it has more tread remaining than the others)

Front Left Tire: 4/32nd left

Rear Right Tire: 4/32nd left

Rear Left Tire: 4/32nd left

Any questions, let me know.

Thanks,
Jason

Default 01 Rims

Thanks for the interest. I'm looking at 700 for the tires and rims. Get me a message back and let me know what you think.

If you get me an e-mail address, I can send you pics as well.

Default hmm

Personally I think you should keep them incase a week after you get your new tires/wheels someone desiceds they want them.. they take them and leave your car on blocks... you would be up **** creek without a paddle... meaning you cant get to far on your 1 spare donut style tire...
Or When you buy your new wheels put mixed mached puzzles(wheel "locks") on your studs... On my wheels (stock)

The studs are coverd... Under the cap I have 2 different puzzles on each wheel. (one I think came stock) but yeah They smashed my window (I had to get custom made because GM doesnt make it no more) stole the one puzzle outta my center console (I keep the other one in a big magnetic key holder) stole my studs and the one puzzle.. lol. but yeah they couldnt get away with the wheels.. Pimpin 16'' wheels 225/60 tires

FYI: The Bonneville rims you have also fit the 99-03 Grand Am (spacers are required though). You may have good luck putting them for sale on a GA message forum as well. Good luck!

Default Thanks for the Info

I'll look into posting it on the Grand Am site if I have no luck here. As far as the security of my new rims, they'll be insured so if they get ripped off somehow (I'll have locks) then they get replaced for free and in the meantime I get a rental.

Sorry to hear about your rims getting ripped off though..that sucks! :(

Default well.

Well no. I had to call I tow truck cuz I only had the 1 puzzle on each wheel... You should have on a 5 stud atleast 2 lugs on to move the vehicle.
But good idea bout insurance. Lots of people just put them on and forget to get there car re-appreased. Got any wheels/tires in mind?

Default Wheels/Tires

Sorry for the late response. Yes, I am getting 18" Chrome Eco Mia rims in the 5X115mm pattern. As far as tires, I'll either go with Falken or Bridgestone Potenza *-03 Pole Positions. As far as size...still wavering there.... either going with 245/45/18 or 235/50/18..not sure yet..it'* just a look thing.

What about you? You still have stock size? Looking to upgrade? What size?

Sorry everyone but my rims have been sold. I didn't want to say anything until the purchase was finalized but they are now gone. Thanks for the interest!
