This was the play piece. Yes, that'* a 2" electrical chase nipple, but notice I ground the hex end at an angle for less wind resistance. The placement of the nipple in the scoop isn't firm yet. The critical factor for the SSEi and SSE is the placement of the hose. It'* dictated by the hole in the underside of the airdam. So you have to position the hose and nipple, then decide how far forward you want the scoop. I want this to be low visibility, but haven't firmed up the locations yet. It will almost certainly change on the 'production' units, as well as a curved piece of sheet metal inside to direct the air upwards.
There is a 4:1 ratio of surface area between the mouth of the scoop and the nipple. Dimensions on the way when I get the position fixed for the nipple in the scoop, and the backing plate made. You'll have to use a backing plate on the INSIDE of the airdam to support this on all models except the SEl, which Dame and BonneMe are working on a solution for.
