Dirthead, I still drive around on a popped piston too. But I have my new motor about ready to go.

My first two prototypes tore apart. My last one shown there works great. You can do it without removing the mount.

That is funny. I too, pulled a 1.93 60', but my mount was only starting to tear apart. I didn't do it any favors that day or the next.

I'll move your topic back to Performance and Brainstorming now that we know what'* up.

(BTW, Rev2 of my welded mount lasted about 2 hours with Silverbullet and I beating on it, and it'* very difficult to get the two halves aligned when welding and have the mount actually fit the car when you're done)

Geez your another one joining the 3 motor club? :? Sorry to hear about the news, I know the feeling though. Luckily my 2nd motor saw more then 3k rpms (more like 6300, 1492miles) before it died.

Break it and bulid it up stronger bro.
