Default Little bit more cold air to the box

Thanks again Paul aka 2000Silverbullet for being the first on this one, got some 4in hose and ran through the hole infront of the airbox down threw the fender to the front bottom air dam opening and put a 4in heating an air collector on it just like he did.

Can't really see it with filter and top of box on

Paul advised me that I should tape up all the ridges on the heating an air collector cause they can catch the air and rip right off, he'* lost a couple of them, untill he taped them. So instead of leaving the collector Aluminum and shiney for everyone to see, I used some black duck tape. Worked out pretty good harder to see know. First Picture is Paul'* setup, cause I didn't take one of mine when It was Silver and I used black hose. My pics are hard to see I just realized, try to get a better pic soon

Afterwards plugged in the leaf blower to check out the draft and is working nice. Should be getting some nice ambiant air now at speed, should help lower my IAT temps too.

just make sure that no moisture can get in your air, water doesn't fire well in the engine

It takes a HELL of alot of water in the intake to cause problems, and it'* not a direct pull, but rather INdirect, so he'll never have a problem. Water injection has proven benefits as well.

This type of intake will never cause problems unless it'* the ONLY source for air to enter the plenum.

Great work Taylor! Much improved on an already great intake!

Taylor,
One further suggestion would be to insulate your PCM box from the engine bay heat.
It will improve its longevity.
Keeping electronic components cool is always a good idea.

Nice, now you just need some reflective ram air stickers... Have you autotapped with it?
