Default L67, no SC belt, alot quicker than I anticipated!

I drove the SSEi to put a new wheel bearing on it today, and I went to pull out of my subdivision and there was some traffic coming so I pulled out and went WOT and the car was really sluggish. I was trying to figure out what the problem was so I went WOT and the boost gauge sat there at 0. Really, the car felt like it was maybe a high 16 second car or so, which isn't bad IMO. It falls flat on its face above ~5200 or so, but really doesn't run very bad. I was surprised at how well it ran to say the least. When I got to school I popped to hood to find the SC belt gone, the upper idler pulley with a big huge grove cut in it that looks like it was caused from the belt, and the lower idler (the tensioner) was gone. The bearing was there and the bolt was there but the pulley was gone. The belt was laying on top of the cradle, but twisted badly so I'll replace it. My guess is the bearing froze up and the idler broke off so the belt came off and it ended up like that. I have plenty of extra idlers so fixing it is no problem, just have to get a new belt, I just couldn't believe it ran that well. I thought it would've been much slower, especially since the engine itself is basically stock.

Yeah it has lower compression, but also a very restrictive intake, a computer with shift points and fuel tables setup for boost, premium fuel, etc.... I figured it would've been a lot slower, when really it actually felt at least as quick, if not quicker than my sisters '93 Olds 88.

Thats because the ser 1 with 2.84 gearing are dogs. Thats why I had to get the LSS. I was sick of the 93' 88 and its ******* and droaning off the line.
