We currently have 4 members ready to buy and we're looking for a 5th to retain the lowered cost of the rockers. I'm talking with the company now in the hopes of retaining the price with 4 buyers. But if you decide to go it alone in a month or so the price will surely be higher. (on that note be sure to read the first paragraph in the link I gave you, please abide)

Now for the hard part, I'm looking to go forward with this deal ASAP. I'm waiting on a response from the company but when it comes the 4 of us are ready to buy. This is your chance to get in on a group buy deal. It took 4 months to get the buyers we have now, if you're interested in these it'd be a shame to miss it...

I can use this right? It all depends on the price and installation procedures. If its over $400 then I'll have to say no but maybe I can get this instead of the exhaust system I wanted?

Oh no $390? Damn! I was hoping at least $350 then I couldve had that for my Xmas present instead. So these give about a 10-15HP boost? Man I wish I could get these. Maybe I'll just buy 5 sets in the future and sell them to anyone who wants them here. Wait so how much is it for just 1 person to buy them because I the site isnt working?

Initially they were in the $440 range with about $200 in shipping. The other issue with buying one at a time by yourself was outlined in the other thread. If he sees that people are comming to him one at a time and paying $20, $30, or maybe $40 more, why bother with me and my group buy. If he just holds out he knows they'll trickle in at a higher profit for him. That may not be the case, but it didn't seem worth the chance of stripping a good deal from others. Better to be safe than broke eh? After this deal goes through I'll start talking to him more about onesies and twosies. Maybe if there'* a flow of people from the same club he'll be able to consider it technically a group buy..I dunno, we'll see though.

Its a little unfair to the rockers to rate the performance merely from the HP gain. You're basically buying a mild performance cam. The higher rockers will not only create more lift, but also give you more duration. That'll change the characteristics of the engine. It may only give you 15 peak hp, but the HP it has may come in a lot sooner making the actual performance of the car more than merely 15hp would allow. For example maybe at 2300rpm you were making 198hp, peaked at 2800 with 235hp. After rockers you may peak at 2900rpm with only 250hp (15hp gain), but now at 2300rpm you're making 230hp. Does that make sense? This is what people mean when they talk about flattening out the power curve and why its beneficial.

The price quoted was assuming a 5 person group buy. So with you it would surely be $390, with 4 I'm hoping to get a similar price.

Assuming they would all be shipped to one place, what would the shipping charge be and would it be distributed evenly across the buyers?
