It won't be long before every L36 on this site has a ported LIM...
I know I'm holding off putting mine on til more comes out about what happened after this LIM porting:

(Not that I'm saying the LIM did in the motor...I'm just being cautious )

Firebuick, you need smaller inside radiuses on the inside corners. You're 'cutting the corner' enough to disrupt a good 3-5% of your flow. Look at your cylinder heads. You want your LIM'* inside port corners to be just as sharp. About a 2-3mm radius.
Go back to the ZillaMotorsports strikes again topic to see how much tighter your ports need to be.
And why do you have plastic gaskets?

After the intake and some new found power I am discovering that I have some trans issues creeping up... But that was fully expected and even a joke between myself and Willwren... I am getting some slips and shudders from time to time depending on how hard I am driving the car... My trans is old tired and weak... But thats different then impending doom... And I have not made it to that point quite yet and will be looking for another trans in the very near future..
And how could we contribute the Ported UIM to be part of the issue with the engines failure? I'll bet money there was an issue present even before he got there.. And to top it off the L36 Bottom end is good for ( Reliable would be the right word ) to 300 Hp... Just look at the guys who have done an M90 top swap onto the L36 bottom end and drive them all day long..
Do be cautious with all of the work that is done... And everyone needs to understand that you have to pay to play... Anything can happen...
