That seems to be the right muffler. but I can't remeber if your SE has 2 1/4" instead of 2 1/2' inlet. If so, you may need a reducer.

www.fle-online.com has universal Magnaflow mufflers for around 60 bucks as I recall. thats with a single outlet though, so if youre wanting dual outlets they may not have them.
But if you went like I did with my Bonneville and kept the stealth look with no visible tailpipe, just a nice rumbly sound.

The '98 SE should be 2 1/2" from the downpipe to the resonator, then 2 1/4" from the resonator to the tailpipe. Measure to be sure, but my numbers should be right.

i was plaining on running 2 1/2in pipe form the cat back.... so it should fit without any reducers or anything like that just weld or clamp right up right? thanks for all your guys help
