Default K&N filter installed

WOW! I never knew the performance I could get out of one of these! A friend of mine got it for me! I love it, plus I get the spiffy little sticker in the back window too !

It'* that sticker adding the power, not the filter.

I'll make you a deal. You get away from there, and drive down here.....I'll trade you my modified stock airbox with ducting for your stock airbox....which will sit on the shelf until I trade up or sell

The picture gallery on the Bonneville page of my website will show you what it looks like if you don't remember it. I gained as much from ducting it as I did from the drop-in K&N alone.

DriverJohn...so you just have a drop in K&N now..and you feel more power? That'* great. And since you're SC'd you'll feel it more than I did. I got a drop in for $75 and felt no difference. Wait till you get an intake, or a CAI! Your SC will love you!!

Thanks willwren for the offer but maybe another time! I don't think that would fly with my parental units, even though it is tempting.

I actually am quite suprised by the increase in power response! My old air filter was quite dirty so that might have contributed to it! Makes a distinctive tone now when I get on the gas!

I know, tell me about it. I got that drop-in way before I even knew of intakes being available for these cars. I was amazed (and a little t'd off) that it was $75 (ordered it from Pepboys...which explains the price) and it really didn't do much. I didn't expect it to do much, but it still was a ripoff IMO.

...But that was a long time ago. I'm happy with my new K&N!
