And perhaps a carbon fiber hood with heat extractors and ram air scoops to increase the air velocity through the intake more and cool the air charger and well as air cool the rest of the engine compartment. Still love me now? I have more ideas up my sleeve. Want to go turbo Willwren, easily more effecient, is cheap (I have connections) with an Spearco air-to-air intercooler that two times larger than your radiator so the air entering your intake would be around 100 degress with 15 lbs of boost. We can crank approx 400HP easily out of that, spool you buy 2500 RPM and have you running low 12'* easily on slicks and you can compete with BadSSEi. I am a little crazy and so is my partner. Wait till I do my Caddy 500 engine stroked to 570 Cubic Inches, put a 101mm turbo on it, and make 1000HP 91 octance pump gas, and put it in a small car. Sound stupid, I thought so.
*Cough* Nitrous Oxide *cough*
What the hell was that? Did someone say something? Meh...

The 396 BBC will be 500HP easily Naturally Aspirated since it will have AFR heads and other such goodies. Then with the nitrous shot will dip it into the mid-low 10'*. I also want to drive this on the street with a Tremec T56 (same as used in newer Camaro'*/Firebird'*) so I can have a six speed and its one of the few manual transmissions that will handle that much power. But the clutch will probably have to be a 6 puck bronze clutch. So it'* either on or off, no inbetween or slipping.

But right now also working on my Bonneville for suspension and preparing for the 100k anniversary present for my car and my 396 Big Block Chevy (402 cubic inches right now, probably go another .30 over) that will either be turboed or have a 200-300HP nitrous shot since I am converting it to a 4bolt main block this Thursday.

-Hector
As far as the lowering goes, I can't let myself do it. My steering torque arms are probably going to reduce my ground clearance by 1-1.5" unless I get really creative. The major engine mods would be fun but I can't justify it on my budget or for the low miles on a cherry 93SSEi.....the HOOD, however, is something I really want to do. I'm gonna wait for some night whey Ty leaves the shop unlocked, and get one for cheap.
That caddy sounds fun as hell, but I'm starting to think you're as nuts as Ty! I've moved all my projects down a notch and plan to concentrate on the heat shield for the Series 1 ADTR intake. Priority after that will shift back to steering torque arms. Spring will bring closure to the Water injection and a smaller SC pulley. I already get the extra boost in the winter, anyway. Thanks again for everything, Hector.

ADTR will be making a custom carbon fiber hood for my car since it'* black, and will match well. It will also have functionality features as well for the turbo and weight advantages. Plus it wont flex. We are going to be building the vacuum box soon to do carbon fiber with so all it will cost is the carbon fiber material which isnt that expensive out here and our time. If others are interested we could make more hoods and keep the cost down. Perhaps more in the ricer range of like $400 - 500. And 4000 weave will be used, not 3000 for maximum strength.

I would like to price is around the $400 - 500 dollar range, but it would require a few people to buy for me to take the time to do it. But they would be stronger and lighter than fiberglass, and I can kinda customize the hood for each person to their liking like where the heat extractors go, what design of hood and if ram is functional.
