Default JET Power Control Unit installed in my 96

Not too happy. The part # is the same, but it doesn't look anything like the pic on the website that I ordered it from (SFX).

http://www.sfxperformance.com/parts/JET68003.htm

What it is, from what I can figure out, is a module that reads the TPS voltage, then uses the MAP to tell the computer to adjust the air/fuel mixture. There is no user adjustment, just on/off.

I don't notice any difference, other than acceleration seems a little smoother.

Note: Manufacturer'* images may differ slightly from the specific part number or application you selected. If a brand'* logo appears, the manufacturer has not provided an image for that part. Refer to the product'* description for specific information.
Did you write the manufacturer and tell them you were unhappy? You can probably get a refund

Please tell me you didn't just pay 200 bucks for a TPS modifier? It'* simply a resistor.

Intense doesn't offer a 96 PCM.

They do, but Jet didn't do this to him. A third party supplier did.
