Keep in mind, most cars here don't replace their entire exhaust or need to replace their mufflers until they're deep into the 13'* on the quarter mile.
You may want to do your cat right now, and forget replacing your resonator or mufflers/tips until your power levels dictate it. Spend your money on what will either add or support power.
You need to have a method/tool to scan for KR before getting a smaller pulley. If you start with a 3.4, and have too much KR, be ready to either buy a 3.5 or start spending money elsewhere in combatting the KR you find.

Man, I hate how everything links back to KR.
I'm not sure I understand why KR is such an issue with Bonnevilles.

KR is what the computer does to eliminate knock that it'* sensors have picked up. This means if you have KR, you have knock. You eliminate KR by getting rid of the knock.
One or two degrees of KR is not going to destroy your car instantly or anything, but if you spike up to, say, 10 or 15 degrees, you have a problem. And there is a limit to how much timing your computer can pull for KR. When you exceed that, "kablooey" becomes a very real possibilty.
If you don't want to buy a tuner, an Aeroforce guage is a good alternative. It will let you monitor KR, along with many other engine parameters. However, it does not enable you to adjust anything, and it won't log(record) the readings it'* giving you.
Also, if you want to get everything in the Stage 1X package, except the FWI, just talk to Todd about leaving that out and get the rest of the package.

It'* not just Bonnevilles. It'* all forced-induction cars.
Despite our L67'* being built from the factory tough enough to deal with most aspects of stuffing air in there, KR becomes a player early in the mod game when you add boost. Some even have a little in stock form.
Bottom line is that 1-2 degrees tells you that you pushed it about as far as you could with boost, and need to start opening things up downstream.

Ok now I have a wayy better understanding of it. Thanks.
The AeroForce is the one I was told about and was actually going to buy. What are the other tuners you are talking about and what can you adjust with them?
I was actually going to work for while and get a whole wad of money and buy the Stage 3 package. Because I was already deciding on getting headers, this package already has them in it.
And kind of a side note, when I'm looking at the list of links of the things that come in the package, I noticed that both the Intense FWI and the Yella Terra 1.90:1 Roller Rocker & Pushrod Package won't let me see them. When I click on it, it says Fatal Error. This sucks because I need to see what I'm buying here. Do you guys have that problem?
