Can a supercharger be installed on a regular 3800 Series II?
I have a 2001 Bonneville SE, and I was just wondering if the same supercharger that is on the SSEi'* could be installed on an SE. If so, approximately how much would a new one cost and where could I find one?

also check techinfo. theres an article on it there. it has a lot better information than anything i could give you off the top of my head.
basically: it can be done, but not as easily as slapping a super on.

Correct....there'* more than just a new engine being dropped in...I talked with Boosty a few weeks ago and he mentioned things I don't remember ...tranny, wireing harness...not sure exactly what, but it was definitely more than just a new engine.

I think dbtk2 did a top end swap for pretty cheap.
As far as gains, with no tuning, it brought the car from a 14.63 @ 92.8 N/A to a 13.22 @ 102 with the M90 & XP cam. I'm sure with some tuning and race gas it would've gone easy 12'*.
