2005 SLE performance upgrades suggestions needed
Just traded my SSEI for an 2005 SLE and was wondering what kinda upgrades proven to be worth the money. Looking for better overall gains. Not sure if some of the same things applies like on the SSEIs such as PCM, 180stat, colder spark plugs, FWI/CAI. Don't want to get into engine mods yet. THANKS!

Colder plugs won't gain you much on a N/A I don't think. Maybe I'm wrong about that. Most of the performance mods require some work like rockers, but you will be happy with CAI, PCM and stuff. Not much else you can probably do without getting into it.

Take a look at this thread. Tom is about the same year and found nice gains.

The package has a FWI, PCM Upgrade, 180 T-Stat, and plugs. It is almost to the bottom of the package listing on the intense site.
If you go with this package PM Boosty and see if he has a replacement PCM to send back as a core charge. Nothing like the peace of mind in having your stock PCM as a backup.
