You can put it in any time you want, provided you have a perormance shift button. When its in normal mode, all or most the of the PCM'* gains are not present, therefore allowing more economical driving.

No perform shift button. The shift points are at 5900rpm and are always immediate. I don't mind if it won't have much of an affect on performance as long as the govorner is gone. Just as long as it doesn't have a negitive affect on performance.

Also I'm not sure he has cracked PCMs for LSS yet, you should email and ask.

Isnt a chip considered a stage 2 mod? Best results are achieved with Stage 1 mods out of the way. It is more economical to do that and get the best possible performance out of the PCM. Rogues' idea is valid, yet not economically sound in my opinion.

Since you're talking about the different "stages" of modding, are there loose definitions of each one? Are there certain things that are considered Stage 1, Stage 2, etc.? Are all my mods "Stage 1?" What would be considered a "Stage 2" mod for me?
