your pic a second ago was fine, but you had an extra period at the end.

That pic is of an intake pipe with filter. A CAI completely isolates the filter from the engine bay. In my sig, it'* not even a CAI. Really I have just a heatshield, although with the ram feed, no engine bay heat enters it. Mine is kindof a morph between a heat shield and CAI in function.
A real CAI COMPLETELY protects the filter and makes sure it can only draw outside air.
That is an intake only.

Ok.. Lets try this again...
I use this when i go drag racing. Its just a 3 inch hose that runs out of the front behind the head light. I take the head light out and i guess it kinda gives a ram air effect.
Sorry about the pics being so big i dont know how to change them. Well if its not a cold air intake then what is it?

Tell me you're kidding. You run without a filter on a SUPERCHARGED engine at the track?
Do you know how expensive a SC is to replace???????? Don't do that again, PLEASE.
(A ram effect on a SC engine will gain you nothing anyway. The SC is pulling air faster than the forward motion of the car can stuff it into the TB by itself).
