INTAKE Mod.#2 --- Straight in Shot !!

I just picked up a generic PVC filter at Canadian Tire and plugged my IAT sensor into it, then poked it through one of the fender openings. That should keep it clean and at approximately the same temp as the incoming air.

Now get the crossover pipe heat shield from the GPstore. What little heat is left after the ceramic coated headers, will be directed under the heat shield, protecting your new boot from the heat. It 'expedites' getting the heat out of the engine compartment.

Just a quick question about your ducting??? Where does the ducting terminate??? As in we can see the piece in the bumper, but where does the other part come out?

Unfortunately the 3800Performance PCM box covers up half the hole so I can't extend the hose closer to the filter. That'* why I sealed the cool box.

Silver Bullet, Great looking intake. Two Questions: Do you have any intake air temperature readings? If so, at an idle is the intake air temp close to the outside air temperature?
Have you modified that front motor mount? With a stock mount your motor should rock from front to back under excelleration 1 1/2" to 2 1/2". Is the connector boot for the air intake flexible enough?
If you would like to modify the front motor mount give me a call, I live in California.
