there have been issues, dont remember exactly what they were but I know there was a member here that reconnected the EGR due to issues but that may have been with a different system, not a L67

Got an intercooler? No? Don't even consider it.

The EGR valve actually reduces combustion temps, allowing less chance for KR and more advanced timing.

Also if you have inspections in your state you might want to think twice we dont have them here but a lot of states do...not saying you will fail the first L27s were egrless and they pass but yours may or may not

Yeah, I would think you would fail inspection...well, emissions anyway. But who does that on a regular basis? I wouldn't block it though, it'* there for a reason.

I thought that'* what you were probably referring to. Back in NY we had inspections every year, but I don't remember if they did emissions :? CT has no inspections.

nope. FL is real lax about that sort of thing. no emissions, no inspections. at all. i know you're jelous right now. but when you begin to see some of the cars on the road down here, you'll be glad you have inspections where you are. so i guess for mild street motors it'* a no-go?

I have had my EGR blocked off now for 3 years with no problems and I've had the quickest ET at both of our Meets.

It has also had the added benefit of keeping the intake charge cooler and cleaner. No soot on my throttle body or supercharger. :P

It won't throw any codes, as long as you keep it running by installing a small filter over the disconnected end.

....I give away all of my tricks and these guys still can't beat me.

Is that a challenge or what.
