It just turned to 99, 500. An older women kept it in great shape. She didnt want to sell it, but the condo she moved into didnt have room for two cars. That thing was treated better than I am. The sad part is, she put a new tranny in it 4 months before she sold it. Great for the car, but I wont want to pull it now just to upgrade :?

Thats a good point. I do recall a mechanic friend of mine telling me to take it easy. He said the car was known to be hard on the standard tranny. For all the mods that can go into a tranny build, I better start looking for a BIG jar.

Transmission rebuilds/upgrades can run pretty high.
Here is Willwren'* Thread on his rebuild: http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...t=transmission
My rebuild is about to be finished up. Last fix is going in tonight or tomorrow (trans lines need to be changed out). Mine is running me 1845 in the end for parts and WAY discounted labor. I had a complete rebuild with all internals replaced, heavy duty torque converter (kept stock stall incidently), rebuild differential (No LSD), and all solenoids/wiring replaced, and a complete Transgo shift kit with all options. I'm pretty sure the total would've been more then 2700 without the major "My daughter was the maid of honor at your wedding" discounts.
Another option is this company: http://www.importperformancetrans.com/gmautofwd.shtml
I visited thier shop as its not too far from me. Pretty impressive operation. Incidently, they use the Limited Slip Differential from this guy: http://www.engineered.net.

Wow! I thought that I needed a few fingers pointed to get me in the right direction. Now I have to really sit down and come up with a plan. Too many options. Not enough money.
