Thanx folks! The more i read the more I can see that it'* going to be a no go. It was a conversation that sounded good but I will go a different route for improvements and mods.
Maybe do the next best thing and just rebuild the 97 and have 2 Bonnies!........The wife has set her sights on the 05....may justify finding the GXP for myself

Wow! Love that color too! Would be right up my alley..........
.Wife told me she didn't want my hand me downs, even though it'* "such a nice car" lmao....I said "but Sweetie...it'* an 05"....she says "and so will the one I get"....ouch
That 97 is just sitting in our nephews' yard cause he'* not ambitious enough to do anything with it. Brother in law regrets selling it to him for sure....i can likely pick it up for 7-800 bucks but it'll be after Xmas.
As far as that conversion kit...still seems to be a ton of minor details to deal with there....not sure about that

Hehe....anything is always for sale....but the nephew actually owns the car now. I'm sure if i wanted it I'd get it but the money would sway him to a sale. I'll talk with him tonight and see what he plans on doing with it....Let you know tonight or tomorrow
