Default Ignition Upgrades

I need to do a tune-up on my car, seeing that i believe the plugs are oem or at least really old.
What kind of plugs, wires, and possibly coil packs should i get that would be good with the upgrades i am planning on doing. I'm looking for more performance than economy.

These I am going to get soon once all my other issuses are sorted out CAI, smaller pulley, full exhaust, 180 thermostat, new 02 sensor.

Napa Belden "Blue" wires, copper core spark plugs (ACDelco, NGK, Autolite, Champion, etc, NOT Bosch). And if you are looking for coils (most likely you will not need to replace them) go with Series II L67 coils, or the red MSD ones.

You really can't get power out of ignition components. These are regular tuneup items, not power adders. You can only restore lost power, not gain more.

They haven't had much sucess here.

Stock 97+ L67 coils are an upgrade and the MSD'* are slightly hotter than those.

Accel coils have severe reliability problems. Only 3 sets have been used on this Forum, and two of those failed within 30 days.

I agree. Accels are junk. I had them on my '96 Ciera SL with the 3100, and they failed in 2 months. Tested them and found them to be bad.
