Default Believe or not- The Missus had an idea

For anyone whose been inside the taillights, how hard would it be to remove the black striping? The Missus saw a TransAm with the Pontiac Honeycomb tail lights and commented on how cool it looks. Then she asked how hard that would be to do to my tails....

Dang, the girl is thinking. I kinda like her idea.

You mean removing the SSE grille? Or what? Not quite sure I understand. I have had my '89s apart, and I know the SSE grille is glued, and I mean glued to the outer-plastic [the one that cracks and stuff].

Hmmmm... nice idea. Kudos to the missus.

I'm looking for some replacements for my car so maybe the old ones can become the experimental ones.

Thats a neat idea. What material would you use for the tail light honeycomb look?

They'd snap off the clear plastic, Then you'd have a good bit of polishing the clear to get it to look good.
