I am in the process of working with a vendor to determine if they can make a stainless braided brake line kit for 00+ SEs, SSEis, and GXPs. In addition, I've got a set of front f-body/dual piston calipers that I will be test fitting on my Bonne.

It appears that in order to run the f-body calipers, we'll need a brakeline that is just about 1.5" longer over the stock size. (This is the similiar setup with the GTPs. I upgraded my GTP a couple years ago and love it.)

I will be sending a set of stock lines to the vendor this week for measurements, etc. In the meantime, I'd like to see if there is enough interest to get a group buy/introduction pricing going. In addition, I will see if they will offer a F-Body caliper kit upgrade with required hardware, etc.

Regarding pricing, I do not have any idea of price as of yet. I do know that a set of lines for the GTP was about $120 bucks. The Bonneville should be simliar, but the fronts have a bracket that attaches the brake line to the strut. I'm assuming there will be some additional cost to make the bracket.

Yep. As far as I can tell all of the trim levels have 12" rotors.

As far as a 13" rotor upgrade, I'm not sure. Are there any other H-Bodies that have a 13" rotor option? Cadillac maybe?

um actually Tommy the 00-03 SSEI have larger brakes (11.7") than the SE and the SLE

looking thru Carpart, it seems that the GXP brakes (12.7"), cross with some of the New Caddillac'* (DTS)

I'm still interested from when you talked to me about this over summer. Good to see you're giving it another season.

Also, I believe, on evidence of laying a ruler across them before putting them on the car, the PA also uses a 12.7" brake rotor.
I could double check this at a dealer parts counter, if anyone wants.

Sorry dude I have done the reasearch on the PA brakes. Its a regualr 12" rotor like the Bonnevilles and late model Rivieras.

I've been a little swamped this past week with work. I'll be shipping outthe brake lines to the vendor this weekend.
