AWESOME Everyone please read.
I found this awesome artical about using Acetone, 100% pure acetone in your tank to improve gas mileage. It also improves power and engine life...this could be very helpful for us all. http://pesn.com/2005/03/17/6900069_Acetone/

Hmmm. 20mpg -kinda seems high. I'd be happy with 35 in the Lesabre -which has been getting 20-24, but I still need to put new plugs, wires, and fuel filter in. Also, have to clean the IAC, adjust the TPS, and clean/replace the MAF sensors in the LN3.

35 would be awesome, and remeber the 20 was on a car that gets quite a bit higher mileage than ours. My mom owns a Neon and it'* a few years old and still averages like 30mpg.

It does a little there is a picture showing some results that won't display for me, but it doesn't seem to say a lot except that adding too much could increase octane too much and cause a loss of power.

OK, big question does anyone know the truth as to whether or not acetone is corrosive to metal and rubber and such...I mean 100% pure acetone, nothing else. In the few things I read trying to figure out the octane boosting effects a few said acetone is, but it didn't specify if it was 100%. I could see how people would use inferior acetone and have problems but I dunno about 100% pure.
