Default i got a rice pipe

i went to autozone today and bough the rice pipe. i just got to order the KN with my muffler and tips from jegs. im assuming i just unclamp the hose clamps on the old intake and put on the new one with the IAT? how do i make a heat shield for the pipe? thanks

Remove the entire airbox and flex hose when you get your filter. Put the pipe between the filter and the TB, and find a way to attach the IAT in the pipe or filter, as close to the filter as possible.

The heatshield is a do-it-yourselfer. Make a cardboard pattern with tape and scissors, then cut it from whatever you want to make it.
